Nice is the second largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. It is located a few kilometers from the Italian border, between sea and mountains, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and along the Baie des Anges.
Economic and cultural capital of the French Riviera, Nice has the 3rd largest airport in France and welcomes more than 4 million tourists every year.
Its festivities (the Carnival and its Flower Battles, the Jazz Festival, the Italian Film Festival, the Book Festival, ...), its Convention Center, its Opera, its Theaters, its Museums, its Universities and its Business Districts are the proof that Nice is in constant evolution for a future always more cultural, more touristic and more economical.
The city of Nice is served by two tramway lines :
Line 1 called "North-South", which connects the northern districts of the city (Saint-Sylvestre, Le Ray, Poètes) to those of the East (Pasteur, Saint-Roch). It leaves at Henri Sappia station, then crosses the center of Nice (Libération, Jean Médecin, Masséna, Garibaldi) and ends at Hôpital Pasteur station.
Line 2, called the "East-West" line, which leaves the Port of Nice to reach the Arenas business district. Its departure is from the east of the Port Lympia station to the Grand Arenas station, passing through Garibaldi, Wilson, Jean Médecin, Alsace Lorraine and Fabron. From Grand Arenas, the line branches off in 2 directions: the airport (Terminal 1 and 2) and the CADAM (Centre Administratif des Alpes-Maritimes).
Our 5 agencies now cover all the main sectors of the city:
